President's Corner

Thanks for checking back into the President's Corner for our latest update!  

As the year starts coming to a close and I look back at what this Team has done, I can't express how proud I am of the entire group.  In less than a year we have a dozen members, we have amassed hundreds of hours of training, worked several public service events and developed an amazing relationship with some of Medina County's Public Service Leadership.  All of this will allow our efforts to be even more impactful as time goes on.  I would also like to thank all Leadership of Medina County, its local City Leader and Public Service Officials who have allowed us to come into their jurisdictions and help the local community.

To all residents of Medina County, if you are looking for a VERY active Team to be a part of, have an interest in radio communications and have a desire to help your fellow citizens please feel free to contact us at any time.  We are always looking for motivated people to join!

As the President of the newly formed MCTX-REACT Team I would like to say how honored I am to be part of such a GREAT Community!  The idea to form this Team was created by 4 guys who had an interest in GMRS and HAM Radios - Me (Donald), Dave, Jason and Bill saw the potential need for more volunteer resources for our local governmental agencies and decided REACT may have a place here in Medina County.

After establishing our Team, we have started reach out to and meeting with leaders of our community to see how and where we can help.  We are still in the beginning stages, we are all still going through some intense training and learning where our place is in HELPING.  The first few months have been a FUN and EXCITING journey.
